hi all, its me (the botak man)

nice meeting some new faces :) only have 2 shots taken today.
manually self processed ( recycle chemical ).
When the slides gets bigger, any minor color drift is very obvious :)

flower is under back-lighting, tough shot, spot meter on the pink pedals...
rest is estimate only

I did tilt the front standard all the way, but the impact of tilt is not significant here.
I suppose, the back must tilt also... not sure..

cheers and looking forward to see more pictures here

Look like hv to go back SBG For another shoot. Backlighted leaves are challenging.

Palm Leaves. Fujinon 250 SF lens.

Damn 36 mpixle....this "smudge" in the center right of my HDR turns out to be a a dragonfly , in the middle of the lake . At 600% enlargement

Nice one guys. Sorry will be out of action due to pneumonia caught during the overseas event. :(

cropped heavily from 4x5 as Photoshop cannot stitched my 2 scans together. The backlight is great but too bad about the blown highlights.

Here are my contributions. Just process yesterday while accidently spilling some colour developer on my floor. Good that my floor was not developed. ;)

*Seems that I have got out of the image circle of this lens. The aberrations are quite significant.

the color of the 2 flowers shot by lkkang and sweat100 are quite different. was that influenced during the post scanning stage ?

If i am not wrong, both of you use the same film, same chemicals and same scanner. I would love to see the 2 slides side by side on a light table.

interesting... I resize my picture and posted beside...
just for comparison of color. I feel that, the color is the same. However, you should be aware of the lighting , Sweat100 is shooting direct lighting, mine is back lighting. So, the result can be quite different

u r right on the direction of light. my other latop di splay is probably way off too. now on my tablet the colors of two slides look much more similar.

Yeah I think it is due to the direct light. Billy, I also noticed a tinge of blue in the shadow areas, I am not sure if it is due to scanning. Did you add starters to your first and colour developer?
