Hi,
I am just using a Canon kit lens 18-200mm and I find that the lens often extends by selfweight on its own. So if I set my camera up on a tripod at anything other that totally horizontal, my photos tend to look slightly different as it starts "auto zooming".
Any simple way to prevent this happening apart from holding onto the lens itself? (apart from the lens lock that sets it at the widest)
(Sorry... I know this is an extremely noob question).
Thank you.
