Nikon AF-S DX 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED
Nikon AF 80-200mm f/2.8D ED
Nikon AF 50mm f/1.8D
Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED

Can the above equipments use in D700?

Yes, though the DX lenses are for crop bodies so you will experience vignetting.

Only the above 2 can..
Using DX lens (e other 2) on a FF body will only render the usage as a waste ( u r getting oni 5mp on a DX crop)

Flash (regardless)

All lenses and flash can use on D700, if it is DX lenses, the default [Auto DX Crop] mode will switch the format to DX mode once DX lens is detected.

my sample images again

and a 17mm DX lens on a FX camera (see the Vignetting?)

All DX lenses will give you photos of about 5MP+ while only FX lenses can utilise the entire 12.1MP.

Are you sure u are ready for D700 if u cant tell the difference between DX and FX?

You can only shoot in DX mode (5 Mega-pixels) if you use them on the D700. Force the D700 to use FX mode and you'll get the vignetting as shown by Ortega.

I think the 12-24 f/4 is for DX. For wide-angle TS can choose from other zooms like the 14-24 and 17-35 among others.
i think nikon has these if my memory is rite...

12-24
24-70

for FX

Or wait for the rumoured 16-35 f4 ED VR
