Found a useful website if you're wondering about the various types of lenses (eg. A, K, M) and their compatibility to various bodies...

Yeah was reading up cos realised that Sigma HSM does not work on a PZ-1P

The Sigma 8-16mm, K-5 doesn't show as 8mm on the camera, it says 10mm instead. And so on so forth. 16mm is shown as 18mm on camera...

Thats strange cos the min FL that you can set on the K-5 for MF lenses is 8mm...

Hi,

How to read the chart?
if let say a Program A + a DA lens(without aperture ring)... am i able to control the aperture from body?

! Not Recommended. The image formed by the lens does not cover the full 24x36 frame resulting in vigneting (dark corners). Exceptions: Some users report that the DA 40mm does cover the full frame and that some DA zooms at least at some focal lengths also cover the full frame. ---> lucky no vignetting for DA 40

(P | mf) ----> it works in P mode only

not really have DA40... heard that the new DA35 2.4 can right? still have the DFA100mm wr with me also...

if (P | mf) ----> it works in P mode only, M mode will work also?
