Lens Arsenal... in different shooting conditions.

mr. noob here again..

i Dont know if this topic should be posted here or at the newbies thread. in any case that this thread is out of place mr. Mod can relocate it.

im just curious to know about your prefered Lens in different situations.

Portraiture:

Night Photography:

Sports:

Landscape,Architecture:


you may add and comment on each lens you choose. by this you can help me and fellow noobs determine which lens to collect.

I don't do portraits and sports.

Night photography, landscape, architecture: Anything from 17mm to 300mm.

You won't get much help asking like that because the lenses you choose largely depends on your interested and vision. For 6 months, I used nothing but a 20mm to shoot whatever I wanted. Sometimes, if your "preferred" lens is not around, you just have to think of a way to make use of what you have and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Portraiture: 105 micro f2.8

Night Photography: depends on subject but mostly 17mm f3.5

Sports: 80-200 f2.8, me cannot afford more (yet)

Landscape,Architecture: depends on subject but normally 17mm f3.5 or 105mm micro f2.8

yes i mostly use these 2 lenses
