Hi,

Has anyone here tried a LEE filter holder before? Is it a one filter holder fits all threads (e.g. 62mm/77mm/82mm etc.)?

Links to the filter-holder:

It is very similar to Cokin holder. It has a holder and you can buy different size adapters to attach the holder. But the adapters are not cheap. What you should do is maybe buy a 82mm adapter for your 82mm lens then for the rest of your lens get step-up rings of 62-82mm and 77-82mm.

does any1 know if step down (up? same thing?) rings can cause vignetting? or are they thin enough to be negligible?
any1 has a Lee holder? i heard u can dismantle it so that it only holds 1 filter to prevent the holder itself from causing vignetting. is that true for the basic holder?
any1 bought their filters? do these glass filters scratch with normal handling, and what's the best way to store them? what's the likelihood of breakage?

Thanks songandesther.

How about the fit-in filter (http://www.leefilters.com/CPTS3.asp?PageID=136)? Has anyone tried it before, care to share your experience?

I am looking for a filter holder suitable for the sigma 15-30. The normal screw-in type gives heavy vignetting and using gaff tape to hold the filter is a really messy affair. Any good work arounds?
