thanks, i used a 1.3x crop camera with a 300mm, sometimes adding a 1.4x TC.
depending on how far the boat man throw the bait, anything from 100-400mm is good

yes, Langkawi is well known for eagle feeding tour. You see hundreds of them coming for the feeding in a good day.

Thanks tarzanboy66, it's always fun to see so many eagles swooping down at the same time. But at the same time frustrating when u can't get the focus or right pose.

My first trip in 2009, I used 1dmk2n, my 2nd trip in 2010, i used 1dmk4.
If u are wondering only 1 series is suitable for these kind of shoot then don't worry.
There are enough opportunities to get something nice home. I have friends using 5d2, 7D, 50D....
All got decent photos
