No problem...12 is really a little too many to handle anyway, 8 is ideal, but of course, I am not going to discourage ppl from putting their names here.

If we have 12, I will need to go and pick up some management skill on leading a group of photographers overseas...it is going to be a real challenge.

1. Wake up earlier before sun rise. ;p
2. Bring your camera, make sure the SD card is in the camera, battery fully charged
3. Bring along your tripod
4. You may want to bring along torch light since the sun will rise later.
5. Go to the destination you have chosen
6. Set up your tripod
7. Set up your camera with the tripod
8. Make sure your set up is aiming to the sun’s direction, else, you will not be able to take the sun rise shot if sun is rising at the opposite direction. :bsmilie:
9. Wait for the sun to rise
10. Compose when you start to see some sun light, take some test shots if you would like to.
11. While the sun is climbing up, take in a certain interval to make sure you capture the sun rise in different stage.
12. Check the exposure in each shot you take, make changes to the shutter speed, ISO and aperture as and when necessary.

Most importantly is the Remote Shutter! I learnt my lesson during the recent ECP sunrise shoot!

Hi Folks,

I've sent an email out to those who's names were listed.

Total 9 pax at the moment, departure from Singapore will be 6th August, returning home on 9th August.

I fouind a web site that has very detailed description on "A guide to the Summit Trial", I believe for those who are going might want to plan together for some physical training regularly from now on.

I will need the names, as well as passport IDs in order to start booking for our air ticket, so, please send me your particulars via email ASAP.
