Konica Minolta Dual Scan IV - Compatibility with Mac OS Lion

I would like to use the KM Dual Scan IV film scanner on my Macbook running OS Lion. However, OS Lion doesn't support PowerPC applications anymore. I heard that running Bootcamp may help?

Any advice here will be greatly appreciated!
