there is no law against 2 girls kissing each other on the lips is there? i don't think the girls did wrong. the school has no such rules too.
why people are against it is just because of the way they were brought up. people think in a particular way because it's social norm. why are people who go against the social norm punished? it's rubbish for the girls to be punished

Just like to mention two points:

Firstly, read in ST a few weeks ago about married couples taking intimate wedding photos in various stages of undress... including some of the groom baring his butt, and of the groom cupping his hands around the naked bride's vital assets. Don't remember very vitrolic comments against these photos. So it is OK for adults to violate social norms, but not so OK for teenagers to do so?

Secondly, the moral responsibility of the photographer. If you are the photographer, and upon developing the photo becomes disgusted and feel that the photo goes against your moral values, should you still go ahead and print it?

if you can get a hold of it, go watch Chasing Amy. now those are real issues. we talk here as though we know everything there is to know about morality. how many of us here know exactly who we are and what we represent? and how many of us here are still trying to figure that out?
