Kids with high end gear

Why cant kids USE high end cameras? :dunno:

If they are on their own then its a safety concern but if their parents or older siblings are around, why not?

When I go out shooting wit my kids, I let them use my backups so that they fight over the use of my camera. My son was able to hand held a 40D with 400f5.6L when he was 7yr old.

 your son strong sia

btw some of the sec sch kids with L lenses, may be their school's one.

this thread reminds me of a xmm in the outings section using a EOS 7D

If I get elected I promise to restrict camera sales to over 21s. Consumers will be required to produced 2 different forms of government recognised ID to be able to buy cameras. Selling cameras to underaged children will become a capital offence, and buying cameras on behalf of underaged children will result in a fine and imprisonment, or both.

Some day we'll figure out how to differentiate the ones who can't take decent pictures (of any age), but until then, this will have to do.

 the art of humor/sharing are rare nowadays.

Is it just me or are more and more kids using high end gear? Just saturday at marina bay sands i saw this kid like not more than 15 using something with a BG and red ring lens. (on the side-note i realised almost a quarter of the people there using rebel with kit lens. Also saw this guy blasting his pop-up at cbd night landscape at the pavilion, i see almost want to laugh;p)

Your observation is accurate. More kids are using high end gear today.

As to your reaction to the guy using pop-up flash... :dunno:

I'm just curious what photos he have taken and whether it will drive him to get better?

My sec sch uses a d60 with kit lens and a 55-200mm. Nice lenses. Nice body.

lol, i have downgraded to compact already.
hardly have time to carry my d40 out nowadays.

my school uses the Canon EOS 40 D lol its even heavier then my D60 ...!
