Q2. Does this work on any slider or does it only work with Kessler' sliders ?

i feel kessler stuff a bit bulky =) works alright, but likely end up with back and shoulder ache coz need to carry to the shooting site

A1: never consider hehehe
A2: i think it's 50/50 => the pan-tilt mount should work with any other type of slider but the horizontal sliding system can only work (or customised to work) with slider systems that use a turnwheel+belt system

Quite clear from the design that it's likely only for use with Kessler sliders.
