Bros,

Need your opinion here.
I was going to get MCON for 14-42 or 45/1.8 for macro adapter, but came across this kenko extension tubes which is much better since it can be used for any lens:
Kenko International

Anybody has any experience with it, and know where to buy locally?

Thanks.

I'm also interested. Primarily I want to know if it will adjust my IBIS settings on my EM5 to the right setting automatically and correctly.. "50mm macro" is not the same as "50mm" on the OMD manual IBIS settings..

Got mine from MSC. Although i enjoy taking macro, was never really good at it. Here are 2 shot i taken today and last weekend. I am sure much more can be achieve under capable hand.

Had to figure out how to better flash the subject. Hopefully the MAL-1 i ordered today helps...

EM5 + 12-50 + FL600R + Kenko 10+16mm.

Yes handheld. Age catching up and actually quite torturing although most shot turn out ok. Might consider getting a Manforto 685B...

Yes there are electronic contact on the tube to comm with camera. You need not not rock forward and backward if within range (on zoom lens). Turn the zoom ring to focus, half press lock on and snap.

PM you the price.

Thanks Bro. You mean turn the zoom ring to frame the picture right? not focus? Not bad wor...

Actually turning the zoom ring to find the correct distance. For zoom lens, you have a range of distance to play with. Can't go too near coz the spider will either run away or flash will be block by lens. But it does feel like focusing thou...:bsmilie:

Here another shot. Although can still move nearer for further magnification, the spider will run...img uncrop and unprocess straight out from camera.

Photo taken with my EPL2 with macro adapter.
Pro: still can use the lens auto focus
Con: with a piece of glass in front of the lens, the picture quality is slightly affected.

Took the Kenko tube out for another try today.

75-300 + Kenko Tube.

Again with the FL-600R? Looks pretty good! Did you use a diffuser?

Only the build in FL-600R diffuser. I set the F no. abit too high in the first butterfly shot. Think the one below is slightly better more natural. Yes IMHO, FL-600R perform better compared to FL-36.
