Hi all, its the weekend again and it means . . .. .SHOOTING TIME!!. .

This time in a little eastern part of SG. .Katong


A quiet residential area formerly dominated by wealthy Straits Chinese families or the Peranakans, many of the older Peranakan homes in Katong, once seaside villas, still stand tall and picturesque.

its like a fusion of abstract art and travelscapes..
very interesting angles and perspectives.. overall, nice i feel.. =)

Great shots but I feel you should have taken more photos of Peranakan icons to capture the ambience and feel of that area. Also I didnt know there was an Indian temple there. Where is it?

Yep. Some PP was done. Like Levels, saturation, jus to bring out the colors a lill. And of cos the b/w fotos as well . .

Yea. .i agree with you. Did some shots but all went straight to the thrash can. I admit theres nothing in the fotos to suggest the Peranakans influence there. .my bad.

Its jus off in one of the small lanes. Near the famos katong laksa. Walk deeper in, u wont miss it. .

Super good to be exact.

My church is just round the corner and I hardly have time to really walk through Katong to appreciate it.

Eugene, it's another set of well taken pics, except maybe you would like to shoot some street photog to complement this set of pics.
