Saw this at dpreview n tot it's good for awareness here.

Overall, the product is great, except ...

The problem lies on the base plate... may be that's why during the recent IT show, the product was sold without the base plate.. Was told the base plate will be in some time mid April but not sure if it is a improved version!

Also, the design of the base plate, the pin & ball look quite similar to spider-pro holster as one user pointed out..
