a permanant reduction of electircity would have worked better to drive the msg home. use a more energy-efficient light source & maximise every lumen in the house.

lights made by major brand would include the lumen rating per watt.

If they can convince the authorities to get the streetlights out as well, I'm going to whip out my telescope and enjoy astronomy without light pollution. ;p
