I just notice something strange on my 750, wonder is it normal? Any one can advise?
After I on the cam and play with it, I off it, change to a new set of batteries. When I on the cam again, all settings, including date, time are reset.
I did not experience this last time.
If I did not on the cam and play with it, just change the batteries, the settings remain.
I remember all settings like speed, focus, ... are reset if I set the 'reset' to on but not for date, time as well.
I also remember last time if I change batteries while shooting, the date, time did not reset.
Can any one advise? Or my memory has failed me?

If I'm not wrong, Olympus DC has a small internal battery to keep the internal clock (date and time), this int. batt is charged by the main set of batt, but if left unattended for extended preriod of time w/o recahrging, the int. batt goes flat and with it the settings.
I saw in the Olympus(Singapore) website that the latest firmware release is Sept. I have upgraded my cam's firmware in June. Do anyone know what are the different between the earlier(June) & the latest(Sept) release firmware. Advise. THks.
Hi just bought c770 2 wks ago. 1st digital camera. Found very good for people like me cos I am trigger happy!

there is not much difference basically whichever firmware files such as
"750_FU_En_v753e_86_Do1.exe" on the European web site or "750_FU_En_v753e_88_Do1.exe" on the Asian web site you use.
The only different thing is that the file of "750_FU_En_v753e_88_Do1.exe" also enables C-755UltraZoom(shipped only for American market) to upgrade
to the PictBridge-compatible as well as C-750UltraZoom.

I am new here. Just bought my first digital camera, the C770 from Sim Lim 2 days ago. I had in mind to buy a cannon (A75/85/95) but walked away with a C770 instead. I must say that I didn't regret a bit. So far I am quite pleased with the pic quality. Still learning the other funtions of the C770 and also CAMEDIA Master 4.2- can be quite tricky indeed.

one of the smallest 10x optical zoom in mkt. small and handy..
enough maunal settings.
one thing no good though.. noisy setup and slow response time.
other than that... it's perfect for me! hehehe :bsmilie:
