I'm going to Japan(Tokyo, Osaka/Kyoto) in a few days time, and i need some tips ><

1. Can micro-sim be used with Japan's sim card?
2. Japan is using this power plug:
Electricity in Japan
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Singapore sells this type of adapter right? So I need to go to Japan and buy?
3. Is there a "Japanese Ez-link card" so that my train ride will be cheaper?
4. I'm planning on getting a data plan on my phone so I can navigate around Japan with Nokia's Map on my Lumia 920. Navigation would be tough since the roads are all in Japanese. Any tips? ><

Thanks for all the answers!

for the power plug, this is the standard USA plug. Any global adapter/standard adapter bought from NTUC, etc, will work fine.

eh there are passes for local train rides as well as JR pass if you're going further
most tourist spots have english names

btw 920 has this offline maps feature right?
you just need to dl the map beforehand

920 dont have japan maps.. :/

will charging phones or other appliances be dangerous? singapore is 240V right?

Just got back from Japan, you can get maps from the tourist information centre at transport hubs, ie airports, major train station and major shopping areas. Most of the time, you can buy the train/bus pass from there too. In Singapore, you can buy most train/bus tourist pass from JTB at Ion Orchard.

hallo .... go Mustafa or any hardware store ..... adaptor plug cost about $1.90 each

can charge your singapore electronics in japan ... no problem or danger
