ISO settings for D100

Hi,

Just realized that the minimum ISO setting for D100 is 200? Wouldn't that introduce considerable amt of noise? My c2100uz with ISO setting at 100 has already introduced some noise. Can someone enlighten me on this issue? Do DSLR and digi cam have similar ISO standard?

From the samples I've seen on the internet, D100's pics are relatively noise free even at iso800 (as clean as my G2 at iso50).
