Hi

trying to understand why the pics that I taken in Jpeg format appear fuzzy when connected directly to my HD ready 50" plasma TV.
I am connecting thro my Sony A350 video out(mini usb) thro a composite video (rca).
Pic are taken in aspect ratio 3:2 in L (14M)

It become more apparent on the face of the subjects. Some seem to have double eyebrows. Also facial appearance appeared smudge.

But when I view it thro my new laptop... I dont see these defects even though I increase the images 5x.

Anyone have trying viewing their pics taken with HD tv???

It's probably because you're using composite... Remember, that's an analog source. On your laptop it's all digital. You may want to look for a micro-usb to HDMI convertor; I know the A700 has no such problems, viewing pics on a HDTV with HDMI cable is stunning.

Most likely the reasons already given point you in the right direction... however, I should say the images would turn out okay on an standard-definition (SD) television. One possible explanation is that the output to RCA is in SD format, so when you display on a high-def ready/ full HD tv you are up-scaling the information.
i.e. 14Megapix > SD > HD-ready tv
