Is the 1GB SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo compatible with the P9?

Heya, a friend of mine has tried using the 1GB SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo Magicgate (with adaptor of course) with her P9, but only gets a message like "Memory stick error". Is this MS stick compatible with the P9? This page here -> http://www.sonydigital-link.com/memstick/compatibility/compatibility.asp?l=en&f=dsc seems to suggest the the MS Pro Duo Magicgate is compatible with the P9, unfortunately the largest size it lists is 128MB. TIA!

Hi, sony camera models from P9 all the way backwards are not compatible with MSpro or MSPro Duo... only those cameras from the P8(newer than P9), P10 series onwards are compatible with Mspro/Duo Memory Sticks.
