Is it a good idea to always shoot in bracket mode for point and shoot?

Not sure if anyone is always shooting in brackets mode say +/- 1EV.
I realised my iPhone has a pretty good exposure compared to my settings in my M3. So maybe getting 3 shots are once has a better chance than just one shot at a single exposure?

depends what you are shooting, shooting other non moving objects, you can take all the time you have.
but if you are shooting people, what if the good shots (good expression and eyes not closing) are those either over or underexposed?
do take note of flash recycling time if you are shooting with flash, in the end you may not getting any good shots with flash exposure, as people can't wait for flash to recycle..
