is D50+50mm 1.8F a great match?

for the up coming Canon Photo Marathon i plan to use my D50+50mm 1.8F only......
is this gd? wat to take note of? all advises are helpfull.:thumbsup:

Just got this cute 50mm from my GF a few days ago, didn't try it yet.

Go ahead... but u may want to use flash as well to make the models stand out.

Imho, a D50+50mm 1.8F could suffice if you're skilled...but if you can tahan the weight of your other lenses...why not?

Bro go rent a Canon lar if you going.... ....... this is pure biz lar.... imagine Canon sponsor the event... end up a fella with a big Nikon cam with a huge 70-200 gear walk up the stage to claim 1st prize..... doesn't make sense right.... :dunno:....
