Ip Man

Saw "Ip Man" last night.....only so so....Jet Li would have been better than Donnie in this sort of movies. This was evident with "Fearless".

I actually think Donnie Yen has better build and looks more credible than Jet Li as a martial arts exponent, even though I am a fan of Jet Li and enjoyed Fearless immensely. Fight sequences in Ip Man were well-choreographed, according to my martial arts instructor friends. And after watching an episode of the Fight Quest documentary on Wing Chun, I realised on reflection that Donnie really captured the principles of the Wing Chun style quite well in the movie.
