Hi everyone!

I have a newbie question about nikon flash. I have been reading up on speedlights and stuff but was abit confused with the i-ttl and non-ttl which was mentioned without any explanations to what they are and what they do. I have also noticed that most of the nikon speedlights are not availabel for i-ttl with the exceptions of SB-600 and 800 of which i reckon are specifically for dslrs as described in the nikon website.

So what is gonna happen if i use a sb-27 on my d50? it says that i have to engage non-ttl mode or the shutter will lock. Pretty confused by all these. Help appreciated :)

Thanks in advance!
