well, weatherproof doesn't mean "can engulf the camera in water"

you're talking about rain, when you say "Weatherproof"

not tsunamis, etc

Water works in mysterious ways... it can find its way into the body.

In the old days, they say the "Titanic" is unsinkable... but what happened?
It still sink on its maiden voyage.

By right K5 shd survive from water spill, as K5 is considered water resistant (but not water proof).
Anyway for me, try to keep away my K5 from water :bsmilie:
Some demo here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_-RAzBjakk
I think I going to forward this youtube to them

K5 should have no issue with water spills. My old K20D survived rains, water spills, beer spills and even kenna shot twice with paint balls. I just wipe off the paint with a damp cloth, and been using it for more than 2.5 years now. Can't wait to get the K5 this month hehe. ;p
