How to shoot through windows

Does anyone have a good way to shot through window without having the reflection bounce back to the lens? Thanks in advance.

use a CPL can help a bit...

subject side bright
camera side dark

A simple but not fool proof method is to let the lens touch the glass and shoot. (Lens hood touching the glass will do too). Of course, the above methods mentioned works too.

ANd shoot at an angle to the glass, dun shoot with lens directly in front of glass.
