how do you guys use flash in such scenarios?

with bounce card? or lightsphere? or omnibounce?

since such places the ceilings might be high, do you have to directly point flash head at model?

if say use a bounce card attached on top of flash, can tilt bounce 45 degrees ? would it be enough to lighten up the subject?

and how would high speed sync help/disrupt such phototaking opportunities?

confused person here :dunno:

I always use direct flash
with the adi/ttl metering
it quite accurate actually
if u use high speed syn...yr flash range will be shorter

U can try using a bounce card, the purpose is to soften the hard shadows created by direct flash. On the other hand, u can choose those fashion shows that are outdoor or inside a shopping mall with ceiling windows (natural sunlight)
