How to see settings from uploaded Photo

Hi All,

May i know how to see the settings of the pciture uploaded in the forum?

For example ISO used, Shutter speed used for the picture taken.
 

Its called EXIF. You can download UFraw and see the exif and edit the photo as well. Hope this helps!

Download the exiftool utility on your computer and the image on your working folder:

$ /usr/bin/exiftool DSC_2616.jpg | egrep -i 'iso|shutter'
ISO : 200
Shutter Speed : 1/250

Who says he's on linux/mac OS?

TS, even firefox can read the EXIF if, and only if, the person who uploaded the pic did not strip it all out.
