I spend 12K on lenses within 6 months, buying.... buying & buying, so damm :cry:sad and really poor now!!!!!!,

So my 2 cents worth, in any hobby especially 'Mens' there is always two side of the 'Dollar' one side is the 'Face' value, and the other is 'dollar & cents' value. Which to choose is subjective, so which is yours 'Wants or 'Need'
LOL.. photography sure is an experience hobby... Ciao ciao will spend at least 1k...

if you use what you spent well, any sum of money is not wasted.

sing
A lot more than your last radio button.
But don't look at it the way you asked the question.

If you did not have this hobby, you may have wandered into other hobbies or pursuits.
For example, there are people who change cars often, put money into timeshares, put money into pyramid schemes, buy minibonds, buy highnotes, buy dubious foreign property, buy a piece of swampland in remote region in Canada (so called land banking), pour money into PRC mistress, buy expensive hifi and keep changing hifi sets (can cost hundreds of thousands), fling money in Genting casino or on gambling ships off Harbour Front....etc........get into JB or other foreign land and introduced by evil friends to narcotics, drugs, ecstasy....this is the worst downward spiral.

Basically, you can be cut a thousand and one ways.

Be thankful you chose a relatively harmless hobby.
