well, locally the singapore map is not really that good as there are better alternatives out there. But one impt thing to me is that it has FREE maps worldwide and I have used it in california and melbourne, great if you want gps while travelling as it is weightless (you have to carry a phone anyway) and free maps.
the maps are free but I think you may have to pay if you want voice navigation
