Yes, I think 28-80mm can be a very good travel lens, although it is a bit heavy, but the fast aperture is good for low light...since the built in flash of F80 is not that powerful.

I prefer to buy from original owner, thus I don't look in shop. I am not in Singapore though...currrently staying in Johor. Classads, offstone, and clubsnap can be a good place to hunt...just be patient.

Since F80 + lens is going to be your first setup, thus no problem buying newlah. 105micro can wait...and flash can wait too, in the 2nd hand market.
