Help on Histogram needed....

My cam has the Histogram function but I do not know how to use it to gauge exposure! Ha.... :bsmilie: Quite dumb as I read up the manual too.

So, can any kind soul here tell me wat the little mountains mean on the screen? And how to use it to get good exposure?
