hi, just bot a new Digimate III and put in my old 2.5 " 40G IDE harddisk from old my X Drive Pro. The Digimate cannot read the hard disk. any guru can help ? me not well versed in computer stuff :embrass: thx

Is it formatted in FAT32?

ya, the HD was alredi formatted as FAT32 when i check via the PC connected to the digimate using the usb cable...the pc shows that the HD is working fine...cud there be something wrong wif the digimate ?? thx

you might want to ask for a change with the retailer if you cfm that the HD is formatted in FAT32 and not NTFS
