Help! Internet Explorer

Hi

I was trying to help a friend but I couldn't figure out what's happening the PC.

The IE in the PC can only open once. When trying to open the second one, the home page will appear on the first one. So there is only one copy of IE window on the desk top at any one time only.

Is there setting probelm or virus attack?

Hi, got this from a discussion group:

From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> uncheck/check "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts."

It didn't help at all. Could it be Yahoo messager that was recently installed for him?

Thanks for the great link. It solved the problem after uninstalling the "Yahoo Tool bar".
