composition mate. this is a static object so technical details are very important. all the entangled handles in the back ground are very distracting because all of them seem to have equal weight. try to reduce some to increase focus on just a few of them to work as paths into the picture by cropping the image. subject is placed pretty much in the centre, move it away. increase the blues (add more saturation). i think that would make a pleasing image.

but besides making it pleasing you have to add meaning... its lacking that.
