This is my visit to Kyoto and Osaka in 2012 during the Autumn. Some of you will hate the HDR for what ever reason but I like the way the colours are beautiful.
I went on 26th Nov to 2 Dec 2012 to see the changing of Colour during the Autumn but unfortunately, I was late for 1 week as some of the Maple Leaves have already dropped.

My first day of arrival is the worse as it was raining basically the whole day. It causes my delay in some of the destination for day 1. Only visit Tokufuji Temple on that day and the 2nd day has a perfect weather and I was able to visit many places from Kiyomizu-dera, Chionin Temple, Nanzenji Temple, Eikando, Ginkakuji and finally Kiyomizu-dera for the night illumination.

Here are the HDR Photos.

Nice, but find some of them abit tilted to the left?

Thanks. Great observation, but as I'm mostly using fisheye or ultra wide angle lens, it will cause object to the left to tilt right and right object to tilt left if I point upwards. But some shot are intentional to tilt.

Nanzenji Temple (南禅寺), a zen temple is located in Higashiyama mountains which is also close to Kiyomizu-dera temple which I visited earlier.

No. Those are post process in lightroom and photomatrix(mostly)
The sky also need to cooperate in order to produce nice colors.

There is an Aqueduct in the temple ground. It was used for carrying water between Kyoto and Lake Biwa in the early 1900s.
Water are still flowing today but not sure if it is still used.

This is the Philosopher's Path. It is best visited in Sukura but a few Maple Trees still make the walk worthwhile.

This should be a resident house and it looks beautiful from the outside

Next stop after Philosopher's Path is to Ginkakuji Temple
Ginkakuji (銀閣寺, Silver Pavilion) is a Zen temple. Although it is call Silver pavilion, there is no silver on the pavilion.

Unfortunately, I was in your position 2 years ago when I had hdr vision implanted into my brain.. now, I've moved past it and realised how it made me see the world terribly.

Then I hope in 2 years time, I will be able to take beautiful pictures like your now.
