Yeah, I know. It's the camera's fault! (It's a lot easier to blame the equipment when you got a bad photo, isn't it

I just bought an mx and shooting my first roll of film, technically my second but I did not load the first one properly. I noticed that the first time I shoot for the day sometimes the shutter stuck. I needed to advance the film then press the shutter button again for it to go up. Otherwise its fine. Wastes film though. Is this normal because of unuse or do I need to send this for repair?

Sorry to hear that. I got an ME Super which has exactly the same symptom Too pricey to send in for repair, now it's my showcasing camera (along with another three not working old film cameras)

I think it just happened to my previously-functional ME Super. I guess you could leave the shutter cocked before you put the camera away and hopefully it will work properly after the first shot of the day :dunno: My gf is using that ME Super right now so I will update if she encounters any problems
