Well done mate.... You're making Singapore/Hantu proud.
A few of which are a tad bit overexposed, but rest are pretty good, Let me guess C5060 with FL20?
I like your white balance adjustment. the sand are white-ish instead of brown-ish.
Composition wise, the last two could have been better, but hey.... i know sometimes it is just impossible...
For the sea snake shots, i'd love for it to be a bit lower, at least closer to eye level... again i know how hard it is.... did it attack? or was it docile?
Nudibranch shots are pretty good.... wah think you are shooting towards advance composition lor... well done
me? bullet train? cant be lah.. lotsa shots still CMI..
havnt master the art of strobe placement yet wor.. still a long long way to go.. as u ppl can see.. i dun dare to take much of wide angle stuff.. coz i know sure wont be nice.. anyway, i still depending heavily on TTL ability of FL20.
ya.. a few shots got some spot OE.. thinking if i adjust down in RAW..the whole pic will be quite dull.. and i oso too lazy to use dodging tool to reduce that area.. so juz post loh.. so as to remind myself to try harder next round.
used AUTO WB for all my shots. Remain as it is for RAW adjustment.. From that, can see that the original shots were mainly slightly to the reddish sides wor.. then did a AUTO LEVEL AND COLOUR for final images which added back some blue.
oh.. for the shrimps? hee.. armed with only an UCL330, i cant do much decent shots with it.. so only manage to take and crop it out.. so in term of focusing.. its more of a guessing game.. so no room for better composition.
only during 2nd dives.. i tried using S.Macro Mode and hey, didnt know for 5060/FL20 combo, the strobe can still fire!!!

Banded sea snake( also known as sea krait) , or yellowtip sea snake.. was kinda caught in surprise.. fumbled with removing the macro lens to take some decent shots.. was worrying the strobe light cant even hit the subject then. hmm, anyway can only do a side lighting can u can see in the pic. no time for me to get to eye level as it.. coz its moving around quite fast.. dunking its head into silts.. looking for food.. ;p
Nah... cropping out the "best" position is the key to all those pics above..
cant really able to "get" into ideal composition most of the time.. haha..
