I have no idea what is the fuss all about.

Watching the news on TV such as round-table, etc regarding the budget 2018, most people in the show or interviewed have no worries about the gst hike. Some even supported the move. These people consist of union representative, private sector business owner, grassroot, bank economist and so forth. Even those men in the street have no qualm about it.

This is always the clever move by the government. They know that Singaporeans will accept it, maybe not immediately but eventually.

Yes, you may right to say that some people think that it is a smoke screen or disagreed with the policies.

However, does it matter as long as the majority of the population can accept or live with it?

If you have a chance to talk to people of different walk of life, you will realise that most Singaporeans can accept policies which may be bitter. Many lack of the foresight to see beyond. That’s why innovation and entrepreneurship take a long time to take off.

Better than never to take off. In the field of innovation, we already rank second last in Asean and not forgetting if we ever do improve in this area, our neighbours are advancing even further and setting the pace.

Sinkies have long already been brainwashed or should I say conditioned (maybe a bit of kpkp every now and then) to accept every lousy policy the Gahmen implements.... .....just more propaganda and a bit of "gentle persuasion" to dope them each and every time.

Don't talk about honour (or dignity) and ethics with a Sinkie....they simply couldn't be bothered.
