GH1 questions with macbook pro

i just got a gh1 and i tried my hands on HD video.
sadly i could not view it on my macbk.
i tried to install the software that came with the package but to no avial.
can anyone help me please?
do i need to install another program?

I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.4 with the latest iMovie '09 on the first gen. Unibody MBP. Make you you updated all the software.

Shoot in AVCHD with GH1. Hook up to MBP via USB and put GH1 in USB mode. Open iMovie, and choose Import from Camera in the File menu. The rest is pretty self-explanatory. Once import, you can edit till you heart contents. Never install the software that came with the camera. Also, check if you have the latest firmware for your GH1.
