GF2 Compatible Battery

I have just bought a compatible battery. It works fine. However, the battery status indicator is not displaying on the LCD. Is this a common problem experience by other users of GF2?

It seems that this new generation of batteries are hard to completely "clone". The batteries as I understand it, have a chip embedded. So the 3rd party companies try and reverse engineer the code.. seems that this problem is known for the GF2 and GH2 batteries..

Beside the issue mentioned above, do your GF2 face any problem due to the third party battery?
Can I know where you bought it and how much for it?
