FZ5 Metal Adapter

Hi guys,

Not sure how many of you got the taiwan made metal adapter for FZ5, but, I'm encountering an issue and probably someone can advise.

The lens hood has a very loose joint with the taiwan made metal adapter. After a while of usage, the hood was turning freely and is affecting my shots.

Just wondering if there are any lens hood made for the taiwan made metal adapter which will fit properly and securely.

Yoz dude.. think you can contact metallilan and ask him. It should be a tight fit. did you check the instructions for proper installation?

for the lens hood its not a tight fit. i think the reason is because the metal adaptor is all round flat, while the plastic is you have to turn and lock it in the plastic till it 'clicks'.

Yep, because of that, mine's "bald" already. Dropping off very easily.

hmmm. too bad it doesnt fit fz5.

in the site it claims
These adapters will not fit the FZ1, FZ2, FZ3, FZ4 or FZ5.
