"According to information offered up by Wells Fargo Advisors, the compact system camera will bring a 16-megapixel APS-CMOS sensor, a hybrid view-finder and will have three interchangeable lenses available to it, an 18mm (27mm equivalent) f/2.0, 35mm (53mm equivalent) f/1.4 and 60mm (90mm equivalent) f/2. An image of the reported device (see above) has also popped up courtesy of a scan from French magazine, Reponses Photo, which claims that the camera will be seeing a March release. It's hard to say how much of this is spot on, but there seems to be a good chance that, at the very least, the company's got some more surprises planned for the big show -- we'll no doubt find out soon enough." love at first sight! what a way to launch a new system camera. nice styling, fast, compact lenses and at the popular focal lengths too. kit lens is f/1.4 yum. im sold!

Its definitely another success camera/system from Fuji where everyone wants it.

Slated to be released at 1300Euros with 35/1.4 kit lens (ard SGD1700-1800), I think it's quite reasonably priced if it is really true but when it reaches our shore, it could be near 2k.

The only issue that could possibly marred this great stuff is usual Fuji style: Price, Useability and AVAILABILITY!!! (we could maybe only see it here in June or July 2012 if they launch it in March)

EUR1,300 around SGD2,200. I dun see there is huge variance between list price and counter price.
For example, XS1 list price is USD799 and counter price is around SGD1,100.

Good concept. And look forward to see the pic quality. No AA filter, EXR tech, fujineon lens, all sound perfect.

3. Other lenses will be priced around € 600
4. Camera features APS-C sized sensor (crop factor 1.5)
5. Sensor will feature a color filter pattern w/ 6 filter sites per pixel instead of the usual 4 of a normal Bayer pattern
6. 60mm lens has macro capabilities
7. "X-Mount" bayonet system features 17.7mm flange-to-sensor distance, and features a minimum distance from back lens to sensor of 7.5mm

Potentially, the OVF cant work with zoom , it should be something similar to the X10.

On the primes, the OVF will work , as the x-mount can probably recognise the lens like m9, and make adjustments.

Nevertheless, with EVF, all lens will work.

Not sure what are you trying to say here, but zooming works in OVF of X10
