Just a quick comparison, the s602z has more features, builds up very well on the shortcomings of the 6900z. Some forumners at dpreview, however, said that the pictures of s602z are worse than that of 6900z, presumably because of the smoothening effect of noise reduction. Don't know how true that is.

The 6900z is available between $1000-$1100 I think. I estimate the s602z to be around $1350-$1400.

hm...i haf heard alot of good things about 6900 and the 602 as well.....but me still thinking...izzit a 'so-called' upgrade frm my CP 885??

if it's function wise then yup it's an upgrade

although my 885 is 3mp, which is the same as the 602 and 6900, i think tt the 602 can adjust the aperture...which the cp 885 does not haf....plus 602 allows more ISO readings.....think it's a good investment....not too should when comparing wif the 6900...
