Hi, I'm thinking of getting a Fuji Instax Mini 25 - White from online blogshops.
However, I need some help in getting the instax flims for this camera. Any advise where I can get good price for the plain instax films for Mini 25? Can the films for Mini 7s be used for Mini 25 too?

Film is the same unless u using instax 210 which is wide film (2x card size). If u are buying 1 or 2 pack should be ok, not much saving due to shipping cost and transport to go down and collect. Unless u buying in bulk and do note that it usually expired in 6months to 1year, so pls ask yourself whether u need so many in a short period? whether u can finish before it expired? how many photo u gonna take in a week month.....

For pricing pls refer to page 1. pricing has goes up due to japan earthquake. Online purchase is usually imported from japan and korea.

BTW do note all camera purchase outside singapore or 'imported set" do not have local warranty. If u need warranty and u think it is important pls ask your seller before buying. Usually u have to pay the shipping cost to japan/korea then they will sent u a replacement set.

Friend suggested me to go on gmarket for cheaper deals. Does the fujifilm shops in sgp sell these films too? If yes, which branch could I go to check it out?

Yep, most photo shops sell them. i found the instax mini plain ones selling at 10 pieces for $12 and the mickey mouse at $14..

Yup films for the 7s can be used on the mini 25 too. Generally u can get films from blogshops and places like gmarket, or even local shops.

Your dog must stay still and your hands must be stable as polariods have rather low shuttle speed. ANy movemnt to teh cam or object will result in blur. As for contrast you have to adjust to the settings in place.

i suppose u are taking the photo outdoor and the contrast setting is in default(indoor) that is why the photo is over expose. The view finder need to be slight taken at a angle, that why the focus point is out that is why is photo become blur.

and i wanna tell you i finally get your point on 25 vs 7s!! i received a 25 today and started comparing.. 25 is really SO much easier to use (no need to change mode) and handy (comes with mirror and close up lens)! lesser exposed photos (saving $$) love it totally!!!

25 is a gift from a friend who din know I've already gotten 7s =) if u ask me now, I think after adding on the accessories 7s has, both 25 & 7s actually cost about the same. maybe only slightly cheaper.

may I ask where did you get the batteries from?
