i sent in mine for LCD screen replacement too. waited for 1hr.

does it mean you need to purchase a new screen protector?

my screen protector is still on the screen when they return to me.
i believe they just change the screw & the external frame of the screen (can't rmb what they told me)

I've decided to bring my cam to olmypus for lcd frame replacement and all it took was 30min Great service.!

Olympus Singapore has also finally posted a notice on their website regarding this, dated 04/03/2013, the day anter above posted the post about quick turnaround:

maybe they only post this notice when they have obtained the parts to make the replacements...

May be your set is ok or you seldom flip out the LCD.

I can see hairline crack near center screw, already sent in for replacement...

I use it a lot but so far so good. Anyway, I will send it in for maintenance as well.
