That's all for now.
Hope to get some good feedback!
:D

Is it my eyes or are the prawns outta focus ? Just my 2 cents worth :)

I think the prawns at the back are OOF, cos I focused on the 1st prawn for that shot.

personally feel taht the colour of the food not so attractive, the beverage is nice....Just my 2 cents worth

I think they are pretty good for a first attempt.
I will buy the food and eat them when i see the pictures.:)

Any suggestions how to improve it?

Thanks for the encouraging feedback :)

My apologies.

That sounded a little curt.

Please allow me to rephrase: Would you like honest feedback?

Honest feedback is always welcome, especially if they allow me to improve.

I want to go eat now as well. Some good attempts for your first go, I like the way you have included the chopsticks and the photos have ended up clean and neat. Just be careful on keeping the horizon straight on the champagne glasses. :)

I like the beverages. Especially the 2nd pic.

As an avid prawn lover, I must say that the prawn pic looks really well taken! The 2nd beverage shot is good too. Nice symmetry.

Personally I'm a person who likes a clean background.
I feel that the, whats that? Teapot? Saucepot is rather distracting with it being chopped off. If you want it in your picture either have the entire pot in view or remove it.
The green on ur veggies look more dead than vibrant... Did you cook it for a pretty long time? :p
Also take note of the placemat... I think it must have been a bit on the small side because it tapers off into another background which is also another distracting element..
I'm not sure about you but I would straighten the placemat abit so that the grains.... sticks? meh...
faces straight in one direction instead of diagonally.
A good comparison would be your gyoza to your fried chicken.
Lastly, beverages.
It looks alright to me.
However; take note. make sure all surfaces are dry. The water smudges on the table is distracting.
But overall a good try for a first timer. :D

Ahh, Tainted covered most of it. What Tainted did not mention, besides the greens, is that the condition or preparation of almost all the food and drink may not be suitable for photography.

But what the others said is true: it's a very good effort for a first time.
