Flash allowed in F1?

Hi guys,

I'll be going for my first F1 race on Saturday. Other than taking shots of the race, I would also like to take some shots of my friends who will be there. Do they allow flash to be used during the race as I read that laser pointers are not allowed to brought into the venue?

A flash is NOTHING like a laser pointer. No problems.
