looks like a typical snapshot to me. try not to take all shots at eye-level, try to search for different angles

Errr... this was not taken at eye level. It was taken at "hip/waist" level with a standard lens... opps...

not bad. however i find the colorful cloth distracting. takes the focus away from the subject.

distracting background... may be using wide apperture to blurr it...

Just a thought, wouldn't that not tell what kind of environment the subject is in? I guess my intention to include more "information" about the surrounding of the subject was not executed as well as I wanted. It was meant to be journalistic, not portraiture kind of shot.

I will keep this suggestion in mind the next time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
